Gun Lake, MI — It is with regret that the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt Presented by ARP must announce that they have postponed the Friday August 26 event scheduled for Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn. The Michigan based winged sprint car series was looking forward to appearing at the redesigned historic Tri-City Speedway and making its debut at the new 3/8 mile clay oval. Due to a schedule conflict, the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt Presented by ARP will now attempt to schedule events at the speedway for 2012. The management of both Tri-City Motor Speedway and SOD would like to apologize for the confusion. For more information please look at www.sprintsondirt.com and www.tricityracetrack.com. The Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt Presented by ARP wish good luck to Tri-City Motor Speedway for their inaugural season.

An addition to the 2011 season schedule will be the August 12 date being hosted by the Cherry Speedway in Fife Lake, Michigan. This was originally listed as a TBA on the released 2011 schedule. The Sprints on Dirt look forward to appearing at the racy northern speedway on two occasions in 2011 with the other date being June 17.

The opening event of the 2011 championship chase will be Saturday April 30 at the Crystal Motor Speedway in Crystal, Michigan.
